WELL DONE! Our middle/high students and their director, Mr. Driscoll, did a great job presenting the Shakespeare comedy, Midsummers Night's Dream. It was a very enjoyable performance - Thank you for sharing your talents!
The weather outside is frightful, but Redeemer is so delightful! We are keeping warm and working hard to keep our students engaged in learning! We will take some time for fellowship and fun at the end of the month when we celebrate Lutheran Schools Week!
Mark your calendar for our annual PreK - 12 Christmas Concert. It will be held at Penn Hills High School auditorium, Friday, Dec. 15 at 7PM. Our students are working very hard to prepare a musical celebration of the birth of Jesus, our Savior!
Did you hear? This year we will perform Disney's Beauty and the Beast! Our students have been wanting to perform this musical for several years, and this is the year. The cast has already begun practice under the direction of Mrs. Rachel Dalbo. We can't wait! It's going to be great.
Congratulations to the Cross Country Team, and especially Charis, a sophomore at RLHS who finished 7th in a field of 172 runners in Saturday's WPIAL meet. Way to go team.
The robotics team did very well Saturday in the Best Competition at Grove City College. They made it through several rounds finishing higher than some local public schools. Hard work and perseverance pays off!!!!!

We are a family, and families enjoy getting together for some fun. We are grateful to share special moments together and create new memories.
Our RLS family is part of the larger Family of Christ. Our school is all about Jesus and His love for us, His people. Looking for opportunities to share our blessings is a way of life for God's people, and with the devastation that has faced so much of our country, there are plenty of ways we can help.
For the month of September we will be collecting money for Luther South Academy, a high school in Houston that had more than 4 feet of water in its building. Soon, other regions of the USA will need assistance and we will be ready to serve. Please keep these brothers and sisters in Christ in your prayers. It is easy to lose hope in times of chaos, when it seems you've lost everything. Take a moment to consider how you would feel if you were in their shoes. What would you want people to pray for? How would you want people to help? What could someone say to make you feel better?
Thankfully, we are not in their shoes, we are dry, comfortable, and able to reach out an offer what we have be given, sharing it with others in need. Let's give generously to our friends, and bring Jesus to them.
